The event is held in commemoration and double celebration of Singapore’s 50th birthday, as well as Police Co-op’s 89th anniversary in the month of August 2015. Members may register for a pair of Universal Studios Singapore passes at only $50 which is heavily subsidised by Police Co-op and enjoy a full day of exciting activities and exhilarating rides with their family and loved ones.
Registration came in swiftly and steadily upon commencement of the event on 14 August 2015, 9am and more than 500 members registered their interest for a pair of Universal Studios Singapore passes by the closing date on 24 August 2015, 9am.
Due to the overwhelming response, the management of the Membership & Well-being Committee of Police Co-op have generously approved the increase of the number of winners by 60%, from 100 pairs to 160 pairs of passes so that more members may enjoy the benefit.
Balloting had to be conducted by Mr Samad Bin Halil, representative of the Membership and Well-being Committee, to determine the 160 lucky winners of a pair of USS passes worth $148.
Passes are valid from 5 September 2015 – 3 March 2016. No refunds/exchanges will be entertained if passes were not utilised by the expiry date. Other USS terms and conditions apply. For winners who opted to collect their passes from Police Co-op’s office, collection of passes will commence on 4 September – 2 October 2015 during our office hours. We will mail out any outstanding passes to the member’s mailing address by 5 October 2015 if collection is not done by deadline stated.
We are situated at 250 Sims Ave #04-01 SPCS Building Singapore 387513. Our operating hours are Mondays to Fridays, 8.30am to 5.30pm (except public holidays). Please bring along your NRIC for verification.
If a representative is collecting on behalf of the member, please ensure that he/she brings along an authorisation letter (authorised and signed by member who registered). Please note that we will not release the passes if the representative does not have an authorisation letter.
The passes will be mailed by 4 September 2015 for winners who choose the mail option. Police Co-op is not liable for any mails lost in transit.
We will be making the refund of $45 ($50 less $5 for administrative fees inclusive of GST) for members who have made payment but were not successful in the ballot by 11 September 2015. All refunds will be credited back to the credit card used to make the payment, and will be reflected in the next month’s credit card statements.
