Easi-Loan

This short-term loan scheme allows you to use your net savings (savings less loan) as the collateral when you need to apply loans from Police Co-op.

You can opt to repay the loan in full upon the expiry of the loan or offset the loan against your savings within a repayment period of one to six months.

Hundred-Percent Loan

Similar to the Easi-Loan scheme except for a longer repayment period and monthly deductions from pay packet are required.

Repayment ranges from 12 to 60 months. Two instalments will be deducted upfront upon the approval of the loan.

The Millennium Loan

Enjoy loans from $500 to up to 6 times of your monthly salary with repayment options ranging from 6 to 60 months.

Repayments are based on monthly, instalments deducted from your pay packet. Two instalments will be deducted upfront upon the approval of the loan.

Gratuities Loan

This is a loan scheme applicable only for members who are due to retire in 6 months’ time under the pension scheme.

Under this scheme, the minimum and maximum loan amount is $5,000 and $50,000 respectively.

Repayment to be made by issuance of a post-dated cheque made payable to “The Singapore Police Co-operative Society Ltd” at the time of loan application.

SAVINGS

Subscription Savings (Mandatory)

All members are required to contribute an amount, minimum of $40 and maximum of $200 monthly. You will be paid yearly dividends on these savings based on figures standing as at 31 December.

All members are automatically included into this savings scheme.

Share Capital (Mandatory)

At the start of your membership, you are required to purchase a minimum of 150 Police Co-op shares at a par value of $1 each. The dividends declared on these shares are the same as those of the Subscription Savings Scheme.

Fixed Deposits (Optional)

With as little as $500, you can take advantage of this scheme to increase the value of your surplus cash. You may also share the benefits with your loved ones by opening a joint account with them as a co-depositor.

A voluntary savings scheme for you to set aside a sum of money for committed future expenses, such as vehicle insurance, road tax or a well-deserved family vacation. You may withdraw the money any time at your discretion.

The main intention of the Subscription-To-Savings Scheme (STSS) is to provide our members with an opportunity to receive more regular and consistent returns on the current amount of money existing in their Subscription Capital Account (“SCA”). Members who qualify to participate in this four-year term of STSS Series 2 would have confirmed their participation by 3 December 2012.
